Every Akoma garment comes with the promise of free repairs. We use high quality fabrics and ensure that our sewing is top class, but the more you wear your garments the more likely it is that it might need mending eventually.

We are committed to creating responsibly made clothes and that means being circular by design. But we can’t do it alone. We need your help, every time you send something back for repair, you’re helping us design a future with less waste. 

Here’s how it works: 

Email us at info@akoma1260.com for a complimentary shipping label

• include a picture of the damage that needs to be repaired 

• a brief description with any specifics for our team of vetted seamstresses

• please make sure to specify the return address

Please only use this service only for significant repairs. We want to extend the lifecycle of each jacket as much as possible but we wouldn’t want to burn unnecessary fuel. 

Our team lovingly mends your pieces using techniques like reweaving and patching. We encourage you to celebrate uniqueness and wear your repairs like a badge of honor. 

Once your garment has been repaired we will ship it back and your garment is ready to be worn once again. 

Beyond repair

While we design garments that are meant to stand the test of time, sometimes it’s simply beyond repair. In those cases we ask you to send your garments back so we may use fabric pieces to repair other garments.

In return, for your garment we will give you a unique discount code for 20% off that you can apply to your next purchase.
